The clothes that the White’s picked out were free during the first day of the Community Clothing Giveaway event. “Our connections with community resources allows us to take price tags off of everything,” said shop owner Kevin Boilard. Clothing items are free during the two-day event. “Money is tight, so this helps a lot,” said Carol White. “We hear the needs of the community and try to address them head on,” said Boilard. “The goal is to hit as many people as possible.” The event continues Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. “If someone is in need, price tags don’t exist,” said Boilard.
