WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — You may be able to drive in the snow, but you couldn’t parade in it. The winter storm forced the postponement of the Scranton Saint Patrick’s Parade.
But work continues tonight to salvage another parade this weekend in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks to a community effort, the storm isn’t stopping the Wilkes-Barre Saint Patrick’s Parade.
WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Crews continue to clear and treat roads of dangerous conditions after Saturday’s winter storm throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
We spoke to a few people out Saturday, some were shopping while another told us they were stuck due to road conditions.
WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A house is damaged and a family is displaced after a fire during a winter storm in Wilkes-Barre.
It happened Saturday morning in the first block of Church Street. Crews say the home has interior damage, as flamed scorched the exterior walls.
