Tired of plain ol’ oatmeal? Shake it up with some peanut and banana flavor!
Creamy Peanut Butter Oatmeal
For 1 serving
¾ cup rolled oats
1 ½ cups low fat milk or water
salt, to taste
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 banana, sliced
cinnamon, to taste
Directions:
In a small saucepan, bring milk or water to a simmer (little bubbles). Stir in oats and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook uncovered until liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Transfer oatmeal into bowl and stir in peanut butter. Top with sliced banana and cinnamon.
